Objekte in traditioneller Holzbauweise
In my work I use the classical wood joining techniques of furniture making to develop sculptural furniture and vessels.
The purpose is to search for and construct forms as an expression of various processes that surround and permeate us.
I was born in 1981 in Halle an der Saale and grew up in a small town in Mecklenburg. After completing my business studies at the University of Rostock and alongside my work, I began to take an interest in the classic, handcrafted wood joining techniques of furniture construction in 2014. The works shown here are the result of this time.
